1591B Proto Extension for Raspberry Pi Pico [Discontinued]
The Raspberry Pi Pico 1591B Proto Extension is designed to give you a little extra space for customization on Pico 1591B boards. Our Raspberry Pi Pico 1591B add-on boards are each designed to give the Pico a specific set of capabilities, but not all projects are alike and many require additional functionality, so having some clean prototyping space available is always a bonus!
The Raspberry Pi Pico Proto Extension is compatible with the 1591B Proto, 1591B Relay, 1591B Weather, and 1591B Irrigation Board. On each board we already make all of the GPIO pins from the Pico available by way of standard 2.54mm pitch through holes; this extension is attached using these holes and stacking headers (just like the Adafruit Feather or Arduino methods of stacking boards).
The board itself measures 20 x 8 holes, with the two outermost rows being connected to their respective Pico GPIO pins. Down the middle, we have two individual rails of interconnected pins that can be used for power, ground, etc. All remaining pins are individual through holes with no interconnection.
Standard male and female headers are recommended for stacking the boards.
