If you’ve used an e-reader like a Kindle or Nook, you already know what makes ePaper special: the image stays on screen even with the power removed, it’s sharp and high-contrast, and it’s easy to read outdoors. It really does look like printed paper.

Just a heads-up: this is the bare display panel. You’ll need a board with a standard 24-pin FPC ePaper connector. Here are some good matching options:

The panel uses the JD79661 chipset, so make sure your firmware supports it. The Arduino library already includes support and works just like any Adafruit_GFX display, making it simple to draw text and graphics.
