Cable Extension Kit for Raspberry Pi Camera Modules (V1/V2/V3/HQ)
This kit allows your Raspberry Pi Camera to be moved up to 10 METERS away from the Raspberry Pi Computer!
The THSER102 frees Raspberry Pi Camera Module users from being restricted to the short 15-20 cm FFC (Flexible Flat Cable) typically used to connect the RPi Camera to the Pi Computer. The Kit enables Raspberry Pi Camera Modules to work >10 meters away from the Computer Board using a standard LAN cable assuring the same performance as if the Camera Module was directly connected to the Computer through FFC.
The kit supports Raspberry Pi’s latest Camera Module 3 (12MP Autofocus Camera) and the latest Raspberry Pi 5**. It also supports older RPi Cameras and Pi Computer Boards including Pi0, Pi0W2, Pi 3B, Pi 3B+ and Pi 4B. Global Shutter camera support is coming soon via an update - for more GS camera information please contact THine Solutions.
Additionally, the THSER102 supports advanced applications by HAT on HAT and the 3ch GPIO Extension features. For example, HAT on HAT allows the use of other HAT boards with the THSER102 simultaneously. The 3ch GPIO Extension allows you to extend GPIO communication such as controlling a Camera Module gimbal.
**Important Compatibility Notes
- A Pi 5 camera adapter cable is required for use with Raspberry Pi 5
- A Pi Zero camera adapter cable is required for use with a Pi Zero
