The Olimex BB-PWR-8009 is a high-efficiency DC-DC regulator operating with a 3-5.5V input and has an efficiency of more than 90%.

The output voltage is fixed at 3.3V (up to 1.5A), perfect for powering many 3.3V microcontrollers!
